Background:   Don't "puzzle" your Head 
You will need:
- 01 tube
- mask 136-kris, click here
- Plug in Simple/Diamond, here
 
01. Choose a tube that you like
02. Make two copies of it
03. Open a new image File > New > Transparent - 350 x 350
04. Make a gradient with two colors from your tube.  For doing that, just put one color in foreground and the other one in background and after choose Foreground + Background. 
05. Flood fill the new image 350 x 350 with this gradiente.
 
SEE BELLOW THE SETTINGS FOR THE GRADIENT:
 
06. Duplicate this image > Window/Duplicate or Shift+D
07. Minimize the copy
08. In the first image, with the gradient, apply the Mask 136 Kris > Layers > Delete
09. In the same image, with the mask, go to PSP Effect > User Defined Filter > Emboss 3
10. Maximize the other copy and go to Image > Rotate Clockwise 90
11. Select the image with the mask and go to Edit > Copy.  Go back to the image where you did the Rotate Clockwise and Edit > Paste as a New Layer. 
12. Let down the opacity of this layer to 50.
13. Layer > Merge all flatten
14. Maximize the other copy of your tube.
15. Resize it about 60 x 50  -  Resample using:  bicubic  -  Copy it. 
16. Select the puzzle image and add a New Raster Layer
17. Paste the resized tube on the puzzle image, see the example bellow. 
Do it as you like.
 
17. Change the opacity of each flower layer as you like.  Go to Layers > Merge > Merge All Flatten
18. Go to Effects > Plug in > Simple > Diamond
19. Open your original tube > Copy it, and Paste as a New Layer on the center of your Diamond image and resize it if necessary.   Let down the opacity of this layer to about 38 or the best for you.
20.  Do this puzzle image as a pattern.
21.  Open a new transparent image 1024 x 350 and flood fill it with that pattern.
22.  Edit > Paste as a New Layer your tube again.  Layers > Merge > Merge All Fatten.
